On October 6, the de Oriente a Occidente publishing house presented the book that tells of the intimate moments of the life of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits, in San Esteban de Ribas de Sil (Spain-Galicia).
The book (ISBN 978-987-1621-24-8) was commented on by the Spanish theologian, Gumersindo Meiriño Fernández, co-author with the Jesuit Javier Melloni Ribas, of the introduction of the autobiography of Ignatius of Loyola
The presentation was attended by a select group of people.
Meiriño said that «If we have to summarize it in two sentences, I would say that here are the seeds that Ignatius planted in history. Non-theoretical seeds but fruit of experiences, with very strong experiences.
One can also say, Meiriño emphasized that «the story of the pilgrim, are traces that Ignacio de Loyola imprinted in history while walking.»
In this book there are, therefore, seeds, whose fruits continue giving abundant crops today. And also, footprints, tracks so deep that they are still a reference today.
